<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding machine which adequately and efficiently winds chain-type parts which are formed into two or multiple lines not less than two lines, around a winding reel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The winding machine includes: a body 10; a plurality of shafts which are provided in the body, the axial directions of which are directed in the vertical direction and which are arranged in different height positions in the vertical direction; shaft driving means 17 which are individually attached to these shafts and individually rotationally drive the shafts around the respective axes of the shafts; a plurality of winding units 30, 31 which are provided in the body and installed for each shaft with a prescribed interval in the vertical direction and each of which is provided with a winding reel holding part which is rotationally driven in conjunction with the rotation of the shaft; feeding devices 50, 51 which are arranged for each of the arranging positions of the shafts ascendably and descendably in the axial direction of the shafts and feed the chain-type parts to the winding units arranged for each shaft; and a feeding device driving means for ascendably and descendably driving the feeding devices in accordance with the height position of the winding unit around which the chain-type parts are wound among the winding units which are arranged for each shaft.
