<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watchband structure that impairs no flexibility when the thickness is increased with a core material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the watchband, core materials 13 and 23 are inserted between the surface members 11 and 21 and the backing members 12 and 22 in which the edges are jointed to each other. A rugged shape is at least partly formed in an abutting surface of the core materials 13 and 23 on the backing members 12 and 22. Because of the presence of a recessed part in the rugged shape, the abutting surface of the core materials can contract along with the curving of the watchband, and the core materials are easy to bend even if it has an increased thickness.
