The generator has an evaporator made of a heat pipe (3). The heat pipe is attached to a core (1) that is made from heat-conducting material, and an electrical heating element (2) is arranged in the core. The core is equipped with a thread-circular groove (10), in which the heat pipe is arranged. A temperature sensor (4) is axially arranged in the core. A clamping pipe (8) and the front side of the core are surrounded by a heat insulation, which pass through a water intake (5), steam outlet (6) and electrical supply lines (11). The core is manufactured from aluminum.
