PURPOSE: A dual air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to easily thaw a frozen refrigerant within an expansion valve of a back seat in the fast time. CONSTITUTION: A dual air conditioner for a vehicle comprises a front seat air-conditioning unit, a back seat air-conditioning unit(150), and a heater(154). The front seat air-conditioning unit discharges cooled air to a front seat of the vehicle. The air is cooled by heat-exchange of a refrigerant, cooled through a front seat evaporator, and air sent by a front seat blower. The back seat air-conditioning unit discharges cooled air to a back seat. The air is cooled by heat-exchange of a refrigerant cooled through a back seat expansion valve(152) and a back seat evaporator, and air sent by a back seat blower. The heater is installed between the back seat expansion valve and the back seat blower, and heats the sent air.
