CONDUCTOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor whose cost is reduced.

SOLUTION: The conductor 10 includes an electric wire 12 and a sheath tube 11 in which the electric wire 12 is stored. The outer peripheral surface of the electric wire 12 and the inner peripheral surface of the sheath tube 11 are tightly fitted to each other. The sheath tube 11 is formed by uniting a pair of panel members 16 and 17 each having a groove 18 in which the electric wire 12 is stored. In each of the panel members 16 and 17, a pair of collars 20 is formed to protrude outward from both side edges of the groove 18. The panel members 16 and 17 are united with each other with the collars 20 abutting on each other. A clamp 21 having a pair of pinching walls 22 elastically deformable in each expanding-opening direction is externally fitted to the collars 20 that abut on each other. The panel members 16 and 17 are united with each other by the brims 20 being pinched by the pairs of pinching walls 22.
