<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run fitting structure capable of preventing a design lip from being opened, and preventing a case that an upper ridge part is deformed in a wavy manner. <P>SOLUTION: A glass run 1 comprises a body part 11 having a substantially U-shaped cross section consisting of a base bottom part 14, side wall parts 15, 16, and connection parts 21, 22 for connecting the base bottom part 14 to the side wall parts 15, 16, and design lips 17, 18 for holding flange parts 65a, 66b provided between seal lips 12, 13 for sealing inner and outer surfaces of a door glass DG and the side wall parts 15, 16 along an outer periphery of a window part. Further, a reinforcement 71 has a supporting part 76 which supports the base bottom part 14 of an extrusion-molded part 2 to be pressed against an upper edge of the door glass DG when closing the window part to regulate the upward displacement of the extrusion-molded part 2.
