<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make information recording precise, with respect to a recording and reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device includes a rotary drive means (motor) rotation-driving a recording medium 1 being multi-layers recordable, lenses 6, 7 for recording and reproducing and a lens 5 for address detection which are arranged oppositely to the recording medium 1 rotation-driven by this rotation-drive means, a light source 9 for recording and reproducing for supplying light for recording and reproducing to lenses 6, 7 for recording and reproducing, a light source 9 for address for supplying light for address to the lens 5 for address detection and a light source 38 for detecting position information for supplying light for detecting position information detecting position information of the lens 6 for recording and reproducing to the lens 6 for recording and reproducing and the lens 5 for address detection, wherein wavelength of the light source 9 for address is made same as wavelength of the light source 9 for recording and reproducing or shorter than wavelength of the light source 9 for recording and reproducing, and wavelength of the light source 38 for detecting position information is made longer than wavelength of the light source 9 for recording and reproducing and the light source 9 for address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
