<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a variable displacement exhaust gas turbine, minimizing the clearance of a tongue portion for allowing an exhaust gas flow to smoothly flow into an inner peripheral scroll portion, and fitting a lid member with high accuracy in the vicinity of a ring circle, in the constituent members of the variable displacement exhaust gas turbine manufactured by material molding such as casting and providing products finally finished by machining. <P>SOLUTION: The lid member and a plate reduced in diameter with its inside diameter side extended in the direction of a shaft orthogonal plane along a gap between a bearing housing and a turbine rotor are integrally formed by any molding such as casting, injection molding or cold forging. A projecting portion is formed by projecting the molding surface of the lid member opposed to the tongue portion of the exhaust gas passage of the turbine housing formed in a portion corresponding to the inlet of the inner peripheral scroll portion of the lid member. The projecting portion is subjected to cutting work, and assembly is performed with a clearance value maintained between a cut surface and the tongue portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
