<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical apparatus wherein stripe-like shade irregularity caused by fluctuation in discharge quantity from a liquid droplet discharging head is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The electro-optical apparatus has a plurality of film formation regions Q, which are formed by discharging a liquid material from nozzles 52 on a substrate B, while relatively moving, in the main scanning direction; a nozzle row 52a wherein a plurality of nozzles 52 discharging a liquid material are arranged in a row and the substrate B. In the film formation regions Q; a plurality of landable positions 90 onto which the liquid material lands are set in accordance with the intervals of nozzles 52, in the direction of the nozzle row 52a and discharging intervals in the main scanning direction.
