<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter capable of rapidly and smoothly assuming an operable state again after liquid in a hydraulic passage is released to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The torque limiter includes a cylinder member as one member, a shaft member as the other member, four shear valves 6, and a ball bearing. When the load equal to or less than a prescribed value is applied to the shaft member or the cylinder member, a diameter of a first cylinder member is reduced by oil poured into an oil pressure expansion chamber 26, and an inner peripheral surface thereof is pushed to an outer peripheral surface 20 of the shaft member, and they are frictionally coupled, and torque is transmitted. When the load equal to or more than the prescribed value is applied and the shaft member is slipped with respect to the first cylinder member, a fitting part cuts a head part 37 of the shear valve 6, the oil in the oil pressure expansion chamber 26 is delivered to the outside, friction coupling between the shaft member and the cylinder member is released, and transmission of the torque is shut-off. On a radial direction outer side of the fitting part rupturing the shear valve 6 in shutting-off of power between the shaft member and the cylinder member, an annular cover member 80 is arranged slidably in the axial direction with respect to an outer peripheral surface of the fitting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
