The present invention provides a gastro-retentive porous tablet for oral administration that can be prepared in a simple manner without using special formulation techniques or complex, multistage processes. The formulation prepared by the present invention is a low density formation which can immediately float in a stomach without time delay, and prevents disadvantages such as gas generation or tablet enlargement caused by contact with bodily fluids after elapse of time from administration, thus enabling gastro-retention with reproducibility and accuracy.
