A battery pack (1) comprising a secondary battery (2), a molded body (11) which houses the secondary battery inside, a temperature increase-suppressing layer (13) which is arranged between the secondary battery and the inner surface of the molded body for the purpose of suppressing a temperature increase in the outer surface of the molded body, and a block layer (12) which is arranged between the secondary battery and the temperature increase-suppressing layer for the purpose of blocking a material leaked from the secondary battery when such leakage happens.  Consequently, when an abnormal state where a melted content or the like is leaked from the secondary battery occurs, the content is prevented from leaking outside the battery pack, thereby suppressing a temperature increase in the surface of the battery pack.
