<p>The roller comprises a roller body having a roller base body (43) and two circular side disks (41, 44), a rotary axis (9), a linear bearing unit, which enables a movement of the side disk and has a guiding pin (48), and a unit for supplying a restoring force and a pressing force, where the side disk is moved against the restoring force and the pressing force. The roller base body is arranged between the side disks, is not movable in a rotary axis direction and is fixedly connected with the rotary axis. The force supplying unit is provided between the roller base body and the side disk. A prestressing unit such as a fixable spacer sleeve is provided on the rotary axis. The spacer sleeve limits the process path of the side disk against the force of the supplying unit. The roller base body has a cylindrical form. The side disk is equipped at edge side with a rounded roller edge.
