PURPOSE: A fan motor is provided to improve the assembly accuracy of a rotary shaft by inserting a rotary shaft into the boss part of a fan hub. CONSTITUTION: A stator is stored in a rotor. The rotor rotates in outer side of the radial direction of the stator. A rotary shaft(130) transfers the torque by passing through the rotor. A fan is connected to the rotary shaft. A boss part(113) is formed to the opposite direction of the rotor in the center of the hub of the fan. One end of the boss part has a closed cylindrical shape. The rotary shaft inserted into the boss part transfers the torque to the fan. The fan rotates with the rotor in a body with being separated with the rotor. The rotary shaft is inserted into the boss part.
