PURPOSE: A tailgate hinge structure is provided, which makes opening and shutting of tailgate easily accomplished through the little power using the tension of the lift spring. CONSTITUTION: A tailgate hinge structure comprises a bottom hinge bracket, an upper hinge plate, a lift spring(30), and a binding pin. The upper hinge bracket is hinge-coupled with the upper part of the bottom hinge bracket. The lift spring locates in the bottom of the upper hinge plate and is compressed or swelled according to the opening or closing of the tailgate. The binding pin hinge-couple the lift spring and upper hinge plate to the bottom hinge bracket. In the lift spring, two spring entangling portions are formed in the upper part.
