HIGH IMPACT STRENGTH POLYPROPYLENE COMPOSITION HAVING EXCELLENT RIGIDITY

PURPOSE: A high impact strength polypropylene composition is provided to secure impact strength required as automobile interiors by adding a rubber component to homopolypropylene with excellent rigidity and to improve rigidity and inner surface resistance by adding filler such as whisker and talc. CONSTITUTION: A high impact strength polypropylene composition comprises 20 ~ 92 weight% of highly crystalline polypropylene resin with 96% or more of isotactic peptide fraction by a C-NMR method; 3 ~ 30 weight% of impact reinforcing material of a rubber component; and 5 ~ 50 weight% of inorganic filler. The highly crystalline polypropylene resin has a melt index of 8~60 g/10 min and is an isotactic polypropylene, propylene-ethylene comonomer, propylene-1-butene copolymer, propylene-1-hexane copolymer, propylene-4-methyl-1-pentene copolymer, a copolymer with propylene, a random copolymer of propylene and ethylene or their mixture.
