<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device sufficiently reducing color irregularity when emission intensity at the center part is larger than that in the other parts, on a light emission observation surface above a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: This surface-mounted LED 10 (light emitting device) includes: an LED chip 1; a phosphor layer 19 converting the wavelength of light emitted from the LED chip 1; and a light diffusion part 6 that is structured to diffuse light at the center part on the upper side of the LED chip 1 relative to light in the other parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
