<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which does not obstruct flow of fluid and sufficiently keeps the sealing capability of a connection part even when a passage is deformed or displaced by acting outside force or internal pressure from pressure fluid on a passage in the structure of a connection part of an end plate and the passage of gas or a coolant. <P>SOLUTION: The end plates 20, 20 are arranged on each side of a cell stack 100 of the fuel cell, and a connection part is formed so as to communicate a pipe line 30 comprising a body part 31, a flange 33, and a projection part 34 each made of resin with a manifold through which fluid such as fuel gas is circulated, a spot facing part 21 is formed in the periphery of a through-hole 20a on the surface of the end plate, a sealant 40 is housed in a recessed groove 21a with no end formed at the end, the flange 33 and the end plate 20 are joined in such an attitude that the sealant 40 is pressed by the axial direction end part of the projection part 34 fit into the spot facing part 21, and the through-hole 20a and the pipe line 30 form a passage having the same hollow section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
