<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate film excellent in economic efficiency and durability performance without using an orientation material, a method for manufacturing the laminate film, a polarizing plate using the laminate film as a protective film, and a liquid crystal display element using the polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The laminate film has a cyclic olefin series resin layer (A) and a liquid crystal orientation layer (B) made by photopolymerizing a rod-shaped liquid crystal having a photopolymerizable group, in which the cyclic olefin series resin layer (A) and the liquid crystal orientation layer (B) are in direct contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
