<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact reverse input preventing clutch stable in clutch operation which is inexpensively manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: A retainer 13 for holding a roller 11 arranged between an input outer ring 2 and an output inner ring 5 is in the shape that an axial one side of a pocket 13a for storing the roller 11 is opened, and thereby, an axial length of the retainer 13 is shorter than the conventional one, and the whole of a clutch can be compact in the axial direction, and the retainer 13 can be resin-molded inexpensively by using an axial direction two-divided mold of simple structure. A protrusion regulating radial movement of the roller 11 is integrally formed on inner surfaces of peripheral both side of the pocket 13a of the retainer 13, and the retainer 13 is made to function as a roller guide, and eccentricity of the retainer 13 with respect to the outer ring 2 and the inner ring 5 is suppressed, and the stable clutch operation can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
