PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of notifying of winning a specific winning combination by a lottery, by a performance rotation of rotary reels and preventing the elongation of a game waiting time. SOLUTION: A slot machine includes: an acceleration rotation control means controlling respective rotary reels to start rotating triggered by the operation of a start switch and to accelerate to a predetermined rotation speed; and a performance rotation control means controlling the respective rotary reels to start rotating triggered by the operation of the start switch and to align specific symbols; and executes either control of the acceleration rotation control means and the performance rotation control means. In a case where an index sensor detects an index after each pulse counter starts to count, when the counting number of the pulse counter related to the corresponding rotary reel does not reach the lower limit, the slot machine does not determine it as an error during the execution of the control of the performance rotation control means.
