<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pareo for covering a human body, also usable as a headgear for blocking ultraviolet radiation to which, otherwise, bare skin is exposed at an open-air bath, beach, poolside, etc. and/or blocking rainfall, and convenient to carry as well. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pareo has the following design: An inside lining is attached to the outer circumferential rim on the reverse side of a U-shaped cloth, and when a string threaded through both right and left ends of the inside lining is shrunk, an springy material arc-shapedly inserted and fitted at a cuff part leaves the cloth in a bow-shaped plate form, therefore the cloth serves as a brim, forming a headgear with a crown form at the center.
