<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursing support system which performs a pop-up display in such a manner that the location of a patient who has call-operated within a ward layout being simultaneously displayed may not be hidden when related patient's information is pop-up-displayed on the monitor of a master unit for nurse call when the call from a slave unit for nurse call is received. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The nurse call master unit displays the ward layout on the monitor, and in the meantime, stores the coordinates of the nurse call slave unit on the ward layout. When the master unit's CPU receives the call from the nurse call slave unit, the CPU specifies the location of the operated nurse call slave unit on a ward layout display section M1 from the stored slave unit coordinate information, and operates a patient's information window M3a which performs the pop-up display in a region which does not include the bed mark Pa at the location of the call-operated nurse call slave unit, and also, in a region being adjacent to the bed mark Pa.
