PURPOSE: A gesture and motion based navigation device in a mobile device and a method for interaction with 3D virtual contents are provided to generate immersible and intuitive interaction with digital contents or digital object not using any peripheral device. CONSTITUTION: A hand is detected from a particular area of the rear side of a device with a sensor(402). The hand is displayed(404). Movement of the hand is traced in a particular area of the rear side(406). Collision between a displayed 3D object and the displayed hand is detected(408). An image of the 3D object displayed on a device is changed(410).
