PURPOSE: A location information service system and a location information service method are provided to select the most accurate measurement information among GPS measurement information, cell measurement information and AP measurement information. CONSTITUTION: The first local location based service server(200) provides at least one of measurement information and base station based measurement information inside a mobile communication network(15) to a fixed integrated location based service server(400). If location information is requested from the first local location based service server, a terminal device(100) enables one or more local area wireless interfaces. The integrated location based service server replies location information corresponding to the fixed measurement information selected from at least one measurement information according to a location information provision request.
