PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging management method for properly performing charging to the use of application software according to a use situation thereof.

SOLUTION: This charging management method when a user terminal device collects information necessary for charging management on a server device side in a system comprising the server device performing the charging management of the application software whose charge occurs according to the use situation mainly used in the business of an accounting firm, and the user terminal executing the application software includes: a use situation monitoring step for monitoring to which customer destination the application software is used in business; and a totaling step for totaling monitoring results in the use situation monitoring step, and transmitting a totaling result to the server as use situation information that is information necessary for charging processing on the server side.
