<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from being easily mixed into secondary air supplied to an exhaust passage by an air pump. <P>SOLUTION: This exhauster for an outboard motor engine includes catalysts 61, 62 provided in the exhaust passage 65 upstream of the outboard motor engine 4 with the axis of a crankshaft 11 oriented in a vertical direction, and the air pump 64 supplying the secondary air to the upstream side of each of the catalysts 61, 62 provided in the exhaust passage 65. The air pump 64 is supported by the engine 4.
