DENITRATION CATALYST AND DENITRATION METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denitration catalyst having higher denitration performance.

SOLUTION: The catalyst is used for a reaction to convert a nitrogen oxide to nitrogen and water by causing a hydrocarbon as a reducing agent to act on the nitrogen oxide. The denitration catalyst is obtained by an annealing treatment after a Ga-Al type crystalline oxide contacts with an ammonia-containing gas at below 750°C.
