<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that more reliably prevents soft blocking of supplied developer, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a developing method. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 100 includes: a circulation path 111 used for circulating developer; and a supply path 113 communicating with the circulation path 111 and supplied with fresh developer. Further, the developing device 100 includes: a conveying device 120 for conveying the developer between the supply path 113 and the circulation path 111; and a control section 7 that switches, with predetermined timing, the direction in which the conveying device 120 conveys the developer between a normal direction from the supply path 113 to the circulation path 111 and the direction reverse to the normal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
