<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tempo information output device outputting tempo information reflecting performance tempo, a sound processing system, and an electronic musical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A tempo clock generation part 16 obtains tempo information according to the performance tempo (set tempo), and generate a tempo clock. For example, bar timing, beat timing, and the like are extracted from the timing when a keyboard is depressed, and obtained as the tempo information. A data superimposition part 14 superimposes the tempo clock on an audio signal input from a music sound generation part 13. As the superimposition system, a technique in which the superimposed signal is hardly heard is used.
