摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a network system capable of normally starting communication even if a network system comprised of one group is constructed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An engine node 1X transmits/receives a startup frame via communication lines AX, B while using a slot allocated on the basis of an identifier among slots obtained by dividing a communication cycle into N slots, and the received startup frame is used to synchronize communication cycles to each other. A remote control node 2AX is provided with: a startup frame lack detection unit 24 in which, when the identifier is received via the communication line AX, information is transmitted/received by setting a slot for the remote control node itself related beforehand to the received identifier, and it is detected that synchronization to a common communication cycle is disabled by a lack in startup frame; and an auxiliary startup frame-transmitting unit 25 in which, when the lack in startup frame is detected, a startup frame is transmitted via the communication line AX and the inner communication line B.
