PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the inspection efficiency and inspection accuracy in a device and method for inspecting a circuit board. SOLUTION: This device for inspecting the circuit board comprises a detection section for executing first detection processing of detecting the position of a label of the circuit board 100 held by board holding sections (11a and 11b) conveyed to a first region A1, and an inspection section for executing correction processing of correcting a contact position based on a displacement amount specified from the position of the detected label, and executing, in parallel with the first detection processing, inspection processing of bringing an inspecting device probe 42 into contact with the circuit board 100 held by the board holding sections conveyed to a second region A2 and inspecting it. The inspection section executes a second detection processing of detecting the position of the label of the circuit board 100 held by the board holding sections conveyed to the second region A2, and corrects the contact position in the correction processing based on the displacement amount specified from the position of the label detected by the first detection processing and the displacement amount specified from the position of the label detected by the second detection processing.
