PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical analysis device accurately simulating a status wherein a cylindrical object is brought into contact with another object. SOLUTION: The numerical analysis device 1 includes: a model creation means 21 for creating an analysis target model including the cylindrical object and an object (proximity object) in proximity to the cylindrical object; a motion equation deriving means 22 for deriving a motion equation based on the model created by the model creation means 21; a model analyzing means 23 for analyzing a model by calculating the solutions of the motion equations derived by the motion equation deriving means 22; and an analysis result output means 24 for outputting an analysis result obtained by the model analyzing means 23. The model creation means 21 defines the cylindrical object as a cylindrical object configured of a plurality of spherical objects with a diameter which is equal to the diameter of the cylindrical object in order to accurately simulate a phenomenon wherein contact or friction is generated between the component of the cylindrical object and a component in proximity to the component of the cylindrical object.
