<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink of a long lifetime including a filter the maintenance intervals of which can be prolonged. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heat sink includes a plurality of heat dissipation fins and includes a filter mounted detachably on an air intake end of the heat sink, formed in the same sectional form as that of the end of the heat sink. As a result, compared to a heat sink filter of sponge or the like in the prior art which has small holes and needs to be cleaned periodically, the filter of the heat sink has rough holes through which dust passes, and accordingly maintenance intervals can be prolonged and the maintenance cost can be reduced. Furthermore, the filter of the heat sink has the same lifetime as that of the heat sink mounted on an apparatus, and without decreasing the filtering effect, the lifetime of the filter is remarkably increased compared to a filter of sponge or the like in the prior art.
