PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear suspension device ensuring the smooth operation of an actuator for controlling the toe angle of a rear wheel without considerably changing any component. SOLUTION: The rear suspension device comprises an upper arm 6 arranged in front of an axle and a lower arm 7 arranged behind the axle with a suspension spring S connected thereto as only two arms in the transverse direction. A hub carrier is turnably supported in the required angular range with a virtual king pin axis K connecting connection parts of the upper and lower arms being the center with respect to the hub carrier 4, and a toe control arm 8 expandable by an actuator 21 is connected to the hub carrier so as to actively control the toe angle of the rear wheel by turning the hub carrier.
