It is possible to prevent generation of imbalance between an in-phase signal and an orthogonal signal. A polarity switch (14) performs time-division switching of the polarity of a local oscillator output signal outputted from a local oscillator (13).  Each of the signals outputted from the polarity switch (14) is divided by a divider (16).  The divided local oscillation signal is supplied to a mixer (34).  The mixer (34) which receives the reception signal and the local oscillation signal frequency-converts the reception signal to demodulate the reception data.
