The device (1) has two molders (3, 4) feedable with material streams (11A-11C, 12A-12C) i.e. fiber suspension streams, over head boxes (9, 10) for producing fibrous material web layers (5, 6), where number of layers is preferably three. A couch zone (8) is provided subordinate to the molders for couching the material web layers, where the molders are designed as gap molder and hybrid molder. The head boxes are attached to the molders. Washing units (29, 30) are provided in end areas of the molders in running direction of the molders. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing fibrous material web.
