The spoke (1) has a lug (3) formed at an end (2), where the lug is divided into two opening areas by carbon fibers. The opening areas are separated from each other. Cores (16) are inserted into the opening areas and are made of material that is incompressible with respect to forces acting with stress of the spokes. The end comprising the lug is formed as wedge-shaped on an outer side of the spoke. The core is made of wood, light alloy i.e. aluminum, and fiber composite material e.g. glass fiber reinforced plastic and carbon fiber reinforced plastic. An independent claim is also included for a bicycle impeller comprising a hub.
