A surface-mounted type EDLC(Electric Double Layer Capacitor), a manufacturing method thereof, and a reel band for the same are provided to prevent a soldering error by performing a gold plating in an end of an upper terminal and an under terminal. A surface-mounted type EDLC includes a top case(13), a bottom case(14), an under terminal(17), and an upper terminal(18). The top case and the bottom case receive a polarizable electrode divided by a separator. The under terminal is welded in a bottom surface of the bottom case into a horizontal direction. The upper terminal is welded in a top surface of the top case into a horizontal direction. The upper terminal is curved from the top surface of the top case to a bottom side, and is extended into an opposite direction with the under terminal. A gold plating part(G) is formed in an end of the under terminal and the upper terminal. |
