<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic pen capable of correcting a difference between an actual written position and position information detected by an imaging element, and applicable to an electric blackboard apparatus that compounds a display image and a written image. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic pen has a writing part for writing on a writing medium on which a position information pattern is printed, an optical reading means for detecting the position information pattern, an operating means for computing written locus data from the position information, and a memory for storing the written locus data.
