PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw part fastening machine for fastening a screw part at high speed and low torque in an initial stage of screwing the screw part, and fastening the screw part at low speed and high torque at completion of screwing by use of a single drive motor. SOLUTION: The screw part fastening machine includes the drive motor 2 which is rotatable normally and reversely, a reduction gear 20 for decelerating the rotation transmitted from the drive motor 2 and outputting rotation reverse to the direction of the transmitted rotation, and a drive shaft 5 to which a screwdriver bit engaged with the head portion of the screw is connected. When the drive motor 2 is rotated normally, the high-speed low-torque rotation is transmitted to the drive shaft 5 by the action of a clutch without going through the reduction gear 20. When the drive motor 2 is rotated reversely, the converted low-speed high-torque rotation is transmitted to the drive shaft 5 by the action of the clutch via the reduction gear 20.
