<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter whose terminals are easily connectable with cables for connecting the meter with external equipment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the gas meter 1, intermediate terminals 18 to which the cables 3 are connected are arranged in a positional relationship corresponding to the terminals 20 of the gas meter 1 on a terminal block cover 11". When the cover 11" is fixed so as to cover the terminal block 13 of the gas meter 1, the intermediate terminals 18 arranged on the cover 11" touch the terminals 20 arranged on the terminal block 13 of the gas meter 1.
