<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down pipe capable of preventing it from breaking due to the freezing of rainwater and having a simple structure which can be manufacturable at low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This down pipe is constituted by arranging an elastic body 2, capable of absorbing volume expansion of rainwater due to freezing and floating on the water and a support part 3 supporting the elastic body 2 inside a down pipe body 1, and the elastic body 2 is loaded on the support part 3 and is stored with the inside of the down pipe body 1 being movable.
