摘要 A process fluid flow measurement device (50) includes a fluid flow member (54) having an inlet (56) with a first diameter and a throat (62) with a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter. A first process fluid pressure tap (70) is disposed proximate the inlet (56) and a second process fluid pressure tap (72) is disposed proximate the throat (62). A differential pressure sensor (78) is operably coupled to the first and second process fluid pressure taps (70, 72). Differential pressure measurement circuitry (78) is coupled to the differential pressure sensor (78) to provide a differential pressure signal related to a difference in pressure between process fluid pressure at the first and second taps (70, 72). A process fluid velocity measurement device (74, 114) is positioned in the throat (62) to measure a velocity of process fluid flowing therethrough and provide a fluid velocity indication. The differential pressure sensor signal (90) and the fluid velocity indication (92) are used to provide a calculated indication of fluid flow. This calculated indication can be relative to multiphasic fluids such as two-phase or three-phase fluids.
