MICROORGANISM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING L-AMINO ACID, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-AMINO ACID
摘要
Disclosed is a bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae, which originally has a glucose dehydrogenase activity that utilizes pyrroloquinoline quinone as a coenzyme but is so modified as to be reduced in the glucose dehydrogenase activity, and has an activity to produce an L-amino acid. An L-amino acid can be produced by culturing the bacterium in a culture medium to produce and accumulate the L-amino acid in a culture and collecting the L-amino acid from the culture.
