摘要 <p>A manipulator add-on unit adapted for connection to a system designed for performing operations on a body (B) having a central axis (XB) and a surface (ES) extending about the central axis, when mounted onto the surface. The add-on unit is further adapted for performing rotary motion about the central axis. The manipulator add-on unit comprises a housing (68) with a drive assembly (66) and a manipulator arm (62). The manipulator arm has a longitudinal axis (Xm) and is articulated to the drive assembly. The housing is adapted for mounting onto the system, and the drive assembly is adapted for providing the manipulator arm with at least a reciprocal axial movement in the direction of the longitudinal axis.</p>
