The distance between blade rubber (32) and an inner surface (31c1) of a rear wall (31c) of a rubber holder (31) is determined such that, from opposite ends longitudinally of the rubber holder (31) toward the center thereof, the distance gradually becomes greater than the distance between the blade rubber (32) and the inner surface (31b1) of a front wall (31b) of rubber holder (31).  Also, the distance between the blade rubber and the inner surface of a rear wall of each of a pair of covers connected to the opposite ends longitudinally of the rubber holder (31) is determined such that, from opposite ends longitudinally of the cover toward the center thereof, the distance gradually becomes greater than the distance between the blade rubber and the inner surface of the front wall.  The construction allows relative wind to easily flow between the rubber holder (31) and the blade rubber (32) and between the covers and the blade rubber (32).
