PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of light weight ceramic tiles and the light weight ceramic tiles manufactured thereby are provided to improve convenience for cleaning the tiles, and to prevent surface contamination of the tiles with lightness, thermal insulation, and heat insulation etc. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of light weight ceramic tiles comprises the following steps: molding the tiles(150) with powder of kaolin, organic material clay, lithium enterolith, albite, halloysite diatomite, fly ash, limestone, dolomite, talcum, tannic acid lignin, silicon carbide etc; drying the molded tiles; applying Engobe glaze(21) on the top surface of the dried tiles; applying crystalline antibacterial glace(22) on which nanosilver antimicrobial agent is added; sintering the tiles; and drying the tiles after coating a stain proofing agent(30) on the surface of the sintered tiles.
