<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make information recording precise, with respect to a recording and reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device includes: a rotary drive means (motor) rotation-driving a recording medium 1 being multilayers recordable; lenses 6, 7 for recording and reproducing which are arranged oppositely to the recording medium 1 rotation-driven by this rotation-drive means; a lens 5 for address detection; a light source for recording and reproducing, for supplying light for recording and reproducing to the lenses 6, 7 for recording and reproducing, and a light source for address, for supplying light for address to the lens 5 for address detection, wherein wavelength of the light source for address is made same as wavelength of the light source for recording and reproducing or shorter than wavelength of the light source for recording and reproducing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
