<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making a golf club head relating to processing upper and lower shells, which makes the shells have precise dimensions and close contact surfaces. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, the golf club head has unit shells (11) and (11) having an area determined by the width and surface curvature. A molding material (13) is metal/non-metal, and excess material strip (12) is reserved at a border between the unit shells to have total with and a necessary thickness. The pair of unit shells (11) and (11) are alternately or non-alternately arranged, and integrally formed. When the shells are formed, an extension force generated on the contact surfaces pulls against each other toward the border through the excess material strip (12), thus providing excellent contact surfaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
